In this Italian classic, juicy shrimp simmer in white wine, garlic and butter and are then served over tender linguine pasta.  Stovetop - 10 minutes if thawed, 15 minutes if frozen.

Preparation:  Thaw completely.  If shrimp is frozen or partially frozen, defrost slightly in microwave.  Do not over-microwave, or shrimp will become tough.

Cooking Instructions:  Heat skillet on medium-high heat.  Place shrimp mixture in skillet, bring to a simmer, and cook 5-8 minutes or until butter is melted and shrimp turns pink.  Do not over-cook or shrimp will be tough.  Meanwhile, in large saucepan, bring 2 quarts water and 1 teaspoon salt (if desired) to a boil.  Add linguine and boil 6-8 minutes or until tender.  Drain pasta and place on platter. Top with shrimp and sauce.

Suggested Sides:  Steamed asparagus, dinner rolls, green salad
