This savory, comforting strata features layers of torn sourdough soaked in custard, packed with umami-rich crispy prosciutto, deeply smoky, melted Gouda cheese with everything bagel seasoning. Baked until golden and bubbly, it offers a crispy top, tender center, and bold, smoky-savory flavor perfect for brunch. Oven – 35-40 minutes if thawed, 45-50 minutes if frozen.

 

Preparation:  Thaw completely.  If frozen or partially frozen, add 10-12 minutes baking time.

 

Cooking Instructions:  Preheat oven to 350F.  Remove lid. Place pan on baking sheet.  Bake loosely covered with a piece of foil for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake another 20-23 minutes or until eggs are set and cheese is melted.  Let stand 10 minutes before slicing and serving.  Cooking times may vary due to differences in ovens.
