Pork ribs marinate in an Asian glaze with hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and a touch of brown sugar and are then baked in the oven until tender. These tasty ribs come with colorful fried rice that includes corn, peas, bell peppers, and more. Oven – 2 hours if thawed, 2 hours 15 minutes if frozen.
Preparation: Thaw completely. If ribs are frozen or partially frozen, add 10-20 minutes cooking time. If rice is frozen, defrost in microwave before cooking.
Cooking Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F. Set aside bag of rice. Remove wrapping from ribs and discard. Place ribs in 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover ribs with contents of sauce bag. Bake covered 2 hours or until tender and internal temperature is 155F on instant read thermometer. Glaze will thicken. Meanwhile, heat wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil, then rice. Cook and stir 5 minutes or until hot. If desired, add 1 tablespoon soy sauce to rice as it cooks. Cooking times may vary due to differences in ovens.
Suggested Sides: Frozen egg rolls (follow package directions for cooking) and plenty of napkins
