Salmon Filet topped with brie cheese and basil pesto, baked in a puff pastry shell.  This makes an impressive dish for your family or any dinner party.  Oven:  30-35 minutes if thawed, 45-50 minutes if frozen.


Preparation: Thaw completely. If frozen or partially frozen, add 10-20 minutes foil-covered baking time before proceeding with uncovered baking time.


Cooking Instructions: Preheat oven to 400ºF. Place pan on baking sheet. Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes or until fish is cooked and pastry is golden. To test if salmon is done, insert a meat thermometer through one of the cuts into the flesh. It should register an internal temperature of 140ºF-145ºF. Remove pan from oven and allow entrée to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Cooking times may vary due to differences in ovens.
