Discover the secret ingredient in this hearty beef stew; so many wonderful tastes to please the palate. Carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, and wine all converge to make a one-pot Irish feast.


Preparation:  Thaw completely. If frozen or partially frozen, defrost slightly in microwave before cooking.

Cooking Instructions:  Preheat sauce pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil or butter and brown beef tips, about 5 minutes. Add sauce and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook slowly for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove cover, add bag of vegetables. Turn heat up to medium and continue to cook for 15-20 minutes or until beef and potatoes are tender.

Suggested Sides:  Serve with Irish Soda bread or fresh dinner rolls on side
