Memories of campouts inspire this tasty, fun dinner.  Large foil packets hold ground beef steaks, potatoes, corn, and more, and it’s all topped with a delicious barbecue sauce and seasonings.  Fold ‘em up and you’re ready to cook on the grill, in a skillet, or take on your family campout.  Your kids will get a kick out of opening their own packets and smelling the awesome flavors.  Grill or Skillet - 20-25 minutes, 30-35 minutes if frozen.

Preparation:  Thaw completely.  If frozen or partially frozen, add 10 minutes extra cooking time, or until meat is completely cooked.

Cooking Instructions:  Preheat grill or heavy skillet on the stovetop to medium-high heat.  Place packets on grill or skillet, fold side up, and cook 15-20 minutes (depending on heat).  Turn packets and cook another 5 minutes.  Carefully open one packet and check to see if meat is done.  If not, continue to cook packets until all meat is thoroughly cooked (160F on instant read thermometer).  Caution:  Open carefully and help children open their packets, as packets will release hot steam.

Suggested Sides:  Crusty sourdough bread, S’mores (graham crackers, chocolate, toasted marshmallows)
