Description:Mild, tender tilapia fillets are simmered briefly in our sauce of lemon, tomatoes, green olives, garlic and thyme. Add jalapenos if you wish. Serve over fluffy, steamed rice. Stovetop – 15 minutes if thawed, 20 minutes if frozen.
Preparation: Thaw completely. If fish is frozen or partially frozen, add 5-10 minutes cooking time. If sauce is frozen, defrost in microwave before cooking.
Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Spray large skillet with non-stick coating. Sauté cod over medium-high heat 5-7 minutes, turning to brown on all sides. Add sauce mixture and reduce heat to medium. Simmer 6-8 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and fish is just flaky. Oven: Preheat oven to 350F. Place cod and sauce mixture in baking dish. Bake uncovered 20 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and fish is flaky. Cooking times may vary due to differences in ovens. Rice: Place rice in microwaveable container; add 2 tablespoons water (1 tablespoon for regular order). Cover and heat in microwave 1 minute or until hot. Serve fish and sauce with rice.
