Beijing Chicken Noodle Bowl

Description:

Tender chicken meat is stir-fried with bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, and your choice of onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, celery and carrots.  Homemade teriyaki sauce is packed separately to be drizzled on during cooking.  Meanwhile, boil up the noodles and dinner is ready.  Stovetop - 10 minutes if thawed, 15 minutes if frozen.

Cooking Instructions

Preparation:  Thaw completely.  If chicken and vegetables are frozen or partially frozen, add 5-8 minutes cooking time.   If sauce is frozen, defrost in microwave.

Cooking Instructions:  Spray large skillet with non-stick coating and heat over medium-high heat.  Add chicken and vegetable mixture to skillet and cook 3-5 minutes or until heated through.  Add sauce mixture, stirring to combine, and simmer 2-5 minutes or until sauce coats chicken and vegetables.  Meanwhile, in large saucepan, bring 8 cups water to a boil.  Add noodles and boil 6-8 minutes or until tender.  Drain noodles and place in serving bowl.  Pour chicken and vegetable mixture over warm noodles.

Suggested Sides:  Egg rolls, sherbet for dessert
