Description:Macaroni noodles are boiled and then coated with cheese and a rich white cream sauce, by far beating any version made from a box. Stovetop – 15 minutes if thawed, 20 minutes if frozen.
Preparation: Thaw completely. If frozen or partially frozen, defrost carefully in microwave. Do not over-microwave, or cheese could burn.
Cooking Instructions: In large saucepan, bring 8 cups water to a rapid boil over high heat. Add 1 teaspoon salt (optional). Add macaroni and boil 5-10 minutes or until just tender, stirring occasionally to prevent macaroni from sticking. Drain macaroni and return it to saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low and add cheese mixture, stirring to coat macaroni. Cook gently until all cheese is melted and combined with macaroni.
