Meatball-Stuffed Braided Bread

Description:

Savor the scents and flavors of a neighborhood Italian restaurant in the comfort of your home. Our soft bread dough is stuffed with Italian meatballs, marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. You’re welcome to add onions and bell peppers.  Oven – 20-30 minutes if thawed, 35-40 minutes if frozen.

Cooking Instructions

Preparation:  While still frozen, pop bread from pan.  Spray baking sheet with non-stick coating, and place bread on baking sheet.  If cooking more than one bread, place breads at least 2 inches apart.  Defrost in refrigerator up to 1 day or until thawed.  If desired, let dough rise until puffy.  If frozen or partially frozen, add 15-20 minutes baking time. 

 

Cooking Instructions:  Preheat oven to 375F.  Bake 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.  Cooking times may vary due to differences in ovens.

 

Suggested Sides:  Caesar salad or fresh fruit
