Turkey Burgers with Pepper-Thyme Gravy and Side of Noodles

Description:

This dinner is destined to become a hit with grownups and children alike. Lean ground turkey is blended with just the right spices and formed into patties. Then you cook them up, smother them with the rich brown gravy and serve on top of a bed of wide noodles. Stovetop: 25 minutes if thawed, 30 minutes if frozen

Cooking Instructions

Preparation:  Thaw completely.  If frozen, remove patties from pan and place on microwaveable and defrost slightly in microwave before cooking.

 

Cooking Instructions:  Stove: Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Cook 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until internal temperature is 165F on instant read thermometer.  (Cooking time will vary depending on grill or stovetop heat.) Oven:  Preheat oven 350F.  Remove lid from pan and pour gravy over patties.  Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until internal temperature is 165F on instant read thermometer.  Pasta:  Bring 8 cups water to a boil.  Boil noodles 5 minutes or until tender; drain.  If not using cooked noodles immediately, toss with 1 tablespoon olive oil to prevent sticking.  Pour bag of sauce over patties and bring to a boil.  Cook 2 minutes and serve.
