The meat melts in your mouth, and the sauce is so good you’ll want to use the thick Texas Toast to soak up every drop! Slow cooker – 6-7 hours; Oven – 2 hours, thawed or frozen.
Preparation: Thaw completely. If meat is frozen or partially frozen, cooking time will remain the same.
Cooking Instructions: Slow cooker: Place contents of pork bag in slow cooker. Add ½ cup water. Cover and cook on low 6-7 hours (3-4 hours for Regular entrée). Oven: Preheat oven to 325F. Place contents of pork bag in Dutch oven or other ovenproof container with lid. Add ½ cup water. Cover and cook 2 hours (for both Full and Regular entrée) or until pork is very tender. Toast: Place Texas toast on baking sheet and place under pre-heated broiler 1-2 minutes until just browned. (Toast can be buttered, if desired). Watch closely so toast does not burn.
