Grilled Honey-Lemon Tilapia with Picante Rice

Description:

Mild-tasting fillets of tilapia get a delicious dry barbecue rub with just a touch of honey, creating a wonderful sweet-savory experience.  You also get our special rice with picante sauce.   Grill, Broiler, or Stovetop – 5-7 minutes if thawed, 10 minutes if frozen.

Preparation:  Thaw completely.  If frozen or partially frozen, add 2-3 minutes cooking time. 

 

Cooking Instructions:  Grill or Broiler: Preheat outdoor grill or broiler to medium-high.  Remove fish from pan and place on hot grill or under broiler.  Cook 5-7 minutes, turning once, until flaky and brown on both sides.  Skillet:  Heat large skillet over medium-high heat.  Add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or spray skillet with non-stick coating.  Remove fish from pan and place in skillet.  Cook 5-7 minutes, turning once, until flaky and brown on both sides.  Place rice in microwaveable container; add 2 tablespoons water (1 tablespoon for Regular entree).  Cover and heat in microwave 1 minute or until hot.

 

Suggested Sides:  Lemon wedges, steamed carrots
